Delhi,28th March 2014: DAY 2: Myoho, by Kiran and Meghna, presented “Soul Souk”. The collection prides itself in its beautiful yet simple floral motifs that faithfully re-create the natural foliage and deep designs that Mother Nature herself has created.
The overarching design sensibility has been inspired by the breathtakingly beautiful aesthetics of Morocco, from which springs the clean silhouettes and bold colours like sindoor red, cerulean blue and slate black – all coming together at play to concoct an overall sensation of yogic serenity and grassroots aesthetics.
About Myoho:
Myoho meaning – Buddhist for the mystic forces of nature.
Myoho Style – a seamless confluence of ethnicity, femininity and subtlety. Easy, relaxed and organic, each Myoho ensemble is derived from a storehouse of earthy Indian handlooms. Myoho is interplay of earthy handlooms and intricate textures.
Ensembles are magnified and glorified with feminity, yet keeping it subtle. Maintaining a definite contemporary language, the label attempts to blend the essence of Indian handlooms with a subtle modern sensibility dipped in a palette dominated in magical Indian tones.
About the designer duo:
Myoho Designers -Myoho is the passion child of Kiran Jaisinghani and Meghna Agarwal. A showcase culling the essence of Indian handlooms and marrying them with a modern western sensibility. A dream that shaped into reality in the August of 2007. A dream that is constantly work under progress.
Kiran has studied fashion at the SNDT University and followed it up with a stint at the London College of Fashion. Meghna has graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2004).
