For long I’ve been searching for a chemical-free formula to tame my frizzy hair. Glad that I found Wella Professional Elements Reconstructing Hair Mask. Unlike other hair masks this one can be used on roots as well. My hair does feel soft and tamed to a certain point, but not completely.

Claims: A Paraben-free reconstructing mask that intensively restores and preserves the natural inner structure and strength of the hair.

Price:

INR 1075 for 150 ml

Packaging:

A sturdy plastic tub, which I am not a big fan of as I do have butter fingers and tend to spill the contents everywhere. As compared to tubes, tubs are less hygienic as well. I wouldn’t say it is travel friendly either.

HOW TO USE:

As a Hair Mask

• Massage into damp hair from ends to roots.
• You have an Option to cover your hair with warm towel for 10-15 minutes, this will ensure that the  conditioner is well absorbed
• Rinse well and then towel-dry

As a Hair Conditioner:

• Take a pea sized drop and dilute it with water

• Apply it on the ends of damp hair, leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly

Disclaimer: Not a PR Sample, but an honest review of my experience

Score: 3.5 / 5

My hair does feel manageable post usage of this hair mask, although I don’t couple it with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range. I wouldn’t mind repurchasing this mask if there are no better options available for frizzy hair management. I do feel that it is a little heavy on my pocket and also shocked to see that it does have silicons although Wella claimed this to be a chemical free range. 1. nice review..i also liked this hair mask but i was surprised to see silicons in ingredient list because wella launched this range as chemical free kind of range 🙂

  2. I’ve always loved wella hair care products but never tried their hair masks. They aren’t particularly expensive over here so I might need to give a try!

  3. Wella products are really good. Though I’ve stopped using Wella products now after moving to natural hair products.
