Wedding Season: Baroque Accents

Square, festive fashion, wedding collectionWell.. I’m swamped with weddings this season and can’t catch a break! Every other day there’s either a sangeet or a reception or a muhurtham to attend and trust me I’ve run out of saree options in my wardrobe. My only savior is my mom.. shez got a collection of atleast 300 sarees (and I’m not even counting the daily wear sarees). But it’s soo tiring to go to the tailor to get all those saree blouses stitched… What makes perfect sense is to buy those ready-made ones and pair them with something from my Mom’s wardrobe. And the best thing is that you can use these blouses with other sarees as well. Yeahh.. mix and match them all.. so you are never caught wearing the same look again.

And soo.. my search began for the perfect blouse that can be used with multiple sarees. This search got me to SAREEZ, where I found 2 beautiful blouses.

1) Pink Blouse – with lovely foliage embroidery in golden zari.

I paired this up with a simple sunset yellow saree, a pair of jhumkas, added a baroque envelope clutch, a few bangles with pearls, zircons and a pair of satin beige pumps and I’m ready to attend a wedding muhurtham., festive fashion, wedding collection, festive fashion, wedding collection, festive fashion, wedding collection

2) Black Velvet Blouse with golden baroque embroidery

This one’s for a cocktail sangeet, the idea is to give you a very contemporary chic Indian look. Hence the plain fluorescent green saree and the golden pointy-toe studded moccasin. To make it look elegant yet modern I paired it with a ‘Polki-Kundan’ necklace-earring set and a cuff., festive fashion, wedding collection, festive fashion, wedding collection
