Wood always has a story to tell; the age, the lines, the colour adds value to the wood more than anything. Especially a time piece handcrafted in wood would be a fabulous piece of jewelry to own, and pass on to the generations to come. One such niche brand to have created artistic time pieces in wood is this brand named Jord. They do create a new line of timepiece from time to time, which are modern enough to suit your lifestyle; are sustainable, efficient and experimental in their approach.

So happy that I got a the chance to own this lovely time piece from Jord’s Ely Line in Maple wood. What I particularly love about this one is the colour of the wood and the simple, timeless design. The Maple is pre-treated with tung oil, that adds the light gold tinge to the wood making the watch a befitting piece of jewelry. Don’t worry if you by mistake splash a little water on it, the watch is splash proof; although don’t really try to go swimming in it!
Watch care : For cleaning natural wood, Lemon or orange oil extract is the best. Make sure to avoid extreme hot, cold and excessively dry/humid environments, when storing this timepiece. It is under a limited 1 year warranty too.

The attempt to create a piece of art is commendable, aimed at creating a watch that can tell more than just time, with a belief that the moments are bigger than minutes, so a watch should be all that it says it is and much more. Do check out their collection, I’m sure you’ll be bowled over by them, post which do leave me your comments here and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Bloglovin | Pinterest
