Summer is the time I dread the most, ‘coz my hair just transforms into a mess and an unmanageable one at that. The frizz just multiplies and makes it unmanageable, but then I managed to get my hands on this serum from TIGI. And I must say that, it is perhaps one of the best I’ve tried until now. I do like the fact that the TIGI BedHead Range of products are fun to use as well, with catchy names and tag lines.
It came in a transparent squeeze-y bottle with a twist up nozzle. The quirky fun font style sure appeals to your crazy inner rebel.
INR 1000/- for a 250 ml bottle
The gel is a grease-less, thin and light formula, has these fine shimmer, which when applied gives a good gleam to your hair making it look shiny and healthy while managing it as well. It acts as a thermal protectant, promising easy manageable hair especially to those of you who have a coarse and curly hair as well. It does have a mild apple scent to it.

I do have dry, wavy and coarse hair, that get’s frizzy when exposed to humid and hot climatic conditions, although my scalp type is normal. As instructed on the bottle, I tried it on my damp hair to get the necessary straight hair. So, post a hair shower, I applied it evenly onto my damp hair and it did feel a tad bit greasy, but then the formula did get absorbed in about 10 minutes. By the end of the day, it didn’t at all look like I had something on my hair, it just felt silky and a little straight. The frizz was there and not completely gone, but there is an added benefit of heat protection too. I have coarse and thick hair, so TIGI’s Frizz Control serum is one product that has come this far and help me control the frizz.
Would I repurchase? you ask? Hmm.. depends on ‘if there is a better product than this in the market’, since I still find it a little too expensive, but then the quantity is abundant.
