Sephora – Finallyy in Bangalore

When I heard that Sephora, the French chain of cosmetic store is finally opening an outlet in Bangalore, I couldn’t contain my excitement. How many times have I sent out a list to my friends, abroad or in Delhi to get me those NYX Lipsticks or Burt’s Bees Lip tints, when they come visit me in Bangalore. Glad those days are gone, and glad that the Sephora Store is just about 3 kms from my home *Yayy*, you’ll surely see more beauty review posts in the future since I have access to about 200 brands (adding to my credit card woes). But it’s okay I have a sweet tooth for delectable beauty products and it ain’t a sin 😉 (at least according to us Beauty Bloggers). I was in fact waiting to get my hands, on some of my favourite brands like – Benefit, MUFE, Burt’s Bees, Soap & Glory and the in house label of Sephora too.

The Monochrome interiors of the store makes it look fantastic, by giving the brands the attention they deserve. It was like walking into a makeup heaven, little did I know that the makeup range from the in-house Brand Sephora itself is as good as any other brand it houses. They have an extensive range of lipsticks, eye shadow palettes and everything under the sky. What I loved the most was their Nail Enamel corrector Pen, their Compact powder range to suit various Indian skin tones. Their bath and hair care range is also quite tempting, I’m surely going to try out their Hair care products soon. They even house their range of makeup tools which is quite extensive and suitable for professionals makeup enthusiasts.

I’m already loving the products in the Sephora bag I was sent just earlier this week. That smart eyeliner is indeed smart, while the compact foundation powder perfectly blends into my pigmented skin making it look even toned. The bright red lipstick is so deep and long lasting, that I have to use my makeup remover to remove the stains off my lip, it is creamy and hydrating yet all matte in texture. The Mascara’s luxe packaging is what I fell in love with, besides its voluminising effect. The deep red nail paint is so opaque that you need only one swish of it.

A look on more of my other favourite brands include Benefit (Obviously!), Make Up Forever, Stila, Dior, Shiseido, Soap & Glory and Burts’ Bees.

What I wore: Lace Dress – Dressberry – Myntra | Lace Blazer – Allen Solly | Red Pumps – Enroute | Lip colour – MAC Velvetease Lip pencil in Rouge

What I loved the most in the store was their basket of products concept, so in case you are more interested in buying a whole range from one particular line, you need only pick one of these pre-assorted baskets which would also serve well as gifts. Anyway, I’m glad that Sephora has opened a store just next to my place, I’m surely going to be shopping here almost every month. Have you visited the Sephora Bangalore store at the Forum Mall, Koramangala yet? If not then hurry, before they run out of all their best seller.
