Sephora’s product range is quite extensive, be it makeup, skincare, body, fragrance, hair care or even nail care, one can find more than what they are looking for. I’m here to review the Ginseng Face Mask by Sephora. You can also ask for Lingzhi, Lotus, honey, pearl, green tea, rose and pomegranate. I chose ginseng face mask for my combination skin type and for the medicinal benefits they posses. Ginseng is believed to enhance and restore normal well-being and has become one of the most popular herbal remedies of the world. As for skin they are known for their tightening and toning properties, at the same time revitalizing it since they are a renowned energy booster. When I said my skin type, what I meant was, it is a bit acne prone with a few dark spots, pigmentation spots and blemishes.

Packaging: The mask is wrapped in a metallic cover, with an outer foldable carton. A simple package indeed

Price: I picked up mine from the Sephora outlet in Forum mall, Banglore that retails at Rs. 430/-

What I like and don’t like about this product?

I really liked the way my skin felt, all revitalized and with lot of moisture. They’re great for unclogging your pores and saturated gel seeps deep inside the skin to work its magic. They come in a fabric and it’s over pouring with the gel. Usually masks are complained of being short and not reaching your edges, but this one’s actually adequate and big in case of small-faced individuals. The product is not overly sticky or oily, now that’s what I value in a face mask. It’s just the thing I’d want after a stressful day. Most of all its hands free therapy 😀

As I mentioned earlier it is a saturated fiber mask. It is neatly folded and packed as mentioned above. The only glitch is, the possibility that it might tear while unfolding it. And it carries strong aroma of Ginseng, and stays for a while. But that’s part of the rejuvenating therapy. It actually settles down after a few minutes and calms your mind. As for the results, they are not as quick as it is for others. So, be patient. As you try them, gradually you can feel your skin vibrant and tightened. So that’s what I think of the face mask. 4. I love their face masks. Haven’t tried the ginseng one but it sounds just like the others. Skin always feels fresher, lighter and more rejuvenated. What would we do without Sephora, right? 🙂
