It’s a work day again, and you are wondering what to wear? Monsoon brings in that gloom and the need to add a dash of uncertainty. It could be by adding a pop of colour, but while at work I like to play with solid colours and therefore stay away from shocking or bright ones. I work as a Financial Analyst and so I have to be careful with the colours I choose as part of my work wardrobe, as no matter what is said and done ‘Power Dressing’ holds an upper hand in the Financial sector. Which is why, I usually have the basics ready, one such basic is the having accessories is the tan, gold and black colour palette.
One of my favourite ‘go-to’ accessorizing colour palette is the black, gold and tan colour palette along with a dash of leopard prints to bring an element of uncertainty to the look. Works well if you have a big day at work presenting a new project to the clients. The colour palette is basic and minimal while the leopard prints will make you look anything but boring. Just a few accessories in the palette would do, like a tan strap watch, a black block heel court pumps and a leopard print bag, which are definitely a staple in my wardrobe. With these in place all I have to do is just wear them with different outfits, for example the same set of accessories can be worn with a red dress or a white and black suite or a black dress. You can even consider gold and rose gold as well, since it complements the accompanying colours. Like a rose gold watch, or even pick a mobile phone that is in gold so that it goes with every outfit you wear on a daily basis, which won’t look loud at a work place.
On that note, let me introduce you to this new budget smartphone I came across, the Coolpad Mega 2.5D, touted as the Megaselfie phone which is an Amazon exclusive. I love how sleek this phone looks, especially the metal edges that looks like it could do some serious damage to your pocket. But Guess what!! It’s only INR 7,999/-, not really a big bomb on the pocket right? The 8MP front camera promises selfies as good as the pictures from the 8MP rear camera with a Sony Sensor. I love that they have a number of customization options on the camera, that let you switch from different modes, letting you enhances your pictures according to your needs. For example you need a picture where your face needs to look all contoured and you can’t be bothered to get up and sit in front of the mirror for about 30 minutes to look like Kylie Jenner, may be?! All you have to do is use the ‘Slim’ option on the Beauty shoot mode and you are sorted, where as you can use the Nymph mode to look all fresh with a glow in your face. Did I mention that it feels all light weight in your hands! All in all it sure is a great smartphone that goes with your neutral palette work outfits. After all you cannot be dressed less than 9’s for that big client pitch now, can you?
