Indian Ethnic Wear: Blue Saree and Kundan Jewellery

Square

Hello Everyone!

How to wear a Saree, Indian Saree, Indian ethnic wear

I’m sure you have taken a look at my previous post about wearing a traditional Kanchi saree to a Wedding. And this post will give you a modern take on the saree. Just by changing the hairstyle and adding a twist to the saree blouse.

Add some Kundan Jewellery to accessorise; like a Jhumka i.e. the ear-ring and a statement finger ring which add a touch of Indian-ness, While the Stilettos and the hair up-do will give the look a modern twist.

Like I always say, a saree looks good on every body shape. All you have to do is pick the right print/design and drape it in the right way.

But again!! Do remember that if you are petite, pick a saree with smaller prints and Zari,

While tall women can pick ones with bigger prints/motifs and broader Zari.

If you are on the curvier side, pick up a saree that has panelled saree (which is similar to that of a panelled dress) where half the saree is of a contrasting colour.

Now if you are confident enough to pull it off! You have to try wearing an armored blouse with a simple saree.
