A Very Happy New Year to my readers! Hope this year brings you all the happiness you deserve.
“Winter is here!” quoting from GOT of course 😉 Jokes apart … But this time winter seems harsher and here are a few accessories that’ll help you looking stylish and warm at the same time 🙂
1) Knit gloves with Fur Trims: perfect for mild winters like in Bangalore. This one has the extra style quotient, the fur trims add a classic and elegant edge to it. Picked this one from ASOS
That was inspired from one of my favourite songs – ‘Late Goodbye’ by ‘The Poets of the Fall’.
2) Faux Leather:
I love quirky things and this is one such priced possessions I picked up from Bangkok, MBK Mall. This pair of Faux Leather Gloves that is cut in half, looks uber cool when paired with a leather skirt. Perfect for those music festivals :). I call it the – ‘Cat Woman’ gloves 🙂 and hence the expressions 😉
A ‘Beret Hat’ was initially worn by the military forces in colder places. This was later on adopted by the Parisians, which obviously became a ‘must-have’ fashion accessory for winters. This ones from Front Row Shop.
This Burberry scarf my cousin picked up from Paris, is one of my treasured assets. I love the fact that this is in powder pink and has those masculine checks (a trade mark of Burberry) to give it a balance.
Pashmina Stole in Ombre:
Pashmina is a type of fine Cashmere wool, that is light and warm at the same time. Picked this up from Srinagar. What I love most about this piece is the Grey Ombre effect and yess.. it is Cruelty free.
Leopard Print Collar:
I’m obsessed with Leopard prints and I believe that they are the new Neutrals. I jumped at this one when I was browsing through Front Row Shop. Yet again, this ones Faux Fur and has a buckle to keep it all snug.
I do spend most of the time snuggled up in a quilt during winters working from home. And these ballets are perfect for those times. Picked this up in Bangkok I guess from one of those stores at MBK Mall.
Black Wool Snood:
I’m sure you’ve all heard of a Snood.. A Stole that is also a hood – Snood !!?? An old one of course.. But I love this versatile piece and pair it with ease with different outfits. My mom knitted this for me 🙂
