Valentines Day OOTD: Red Tie-Dye Dress

Square

Valentine’s day is around the corner and what would you be wearing? ‘Certainly Red’ you say? How about Red with a twist? Like a Red Dress with Tie-dye effects in Prussian blue? Which is totally grunge and gives a twist to that “age-old” red dress tradition on valentine’s day! I have 2 ways of wearing it, which I’m still contemplating on.

Look (1) Sweet Grunge

The look has accents of sweet pastel colours. Paired with gold studded moccasins in powder pink and a bag with baroque prints, pearls and gold accents, the look is complete with a tribal necklace in gold and coloured thread details.

Look (2) Gothic Grunge:

Add a grey sling with a rose corsage, pair it with a silver studded vest which has those asymmetric hems, add a few necklaces in dull gold and antique finish here I used a pearl one and a kitty one. The shoes I picked was of ankle length with black studs.

  1. I love the mixing of day time and night time for your valentine’s day look. The black studded sneakers are an excellent touch! xo, Amanda

  2. I love that dress! I think that the tie dye effect makes it much more interesting than it would have been otherwise. To be honest, I can’t even pick a look, I would wear them both! You did a great job styling the dress 🙂
