Beauty: Fabindia Tea Tree Toner Review

Hola! Today I’m here to review one of the most important products, in my skincare regime dedicated to clear and blemish free skin. I’m talking about the Fabindia Tea Tree skin Toner. The product claims to be alcohol free and assures clearer and blemishes-less skin. I can accept the latter part, but not the former. Read on to know more.

Price: INR 125/- for 200 ml., very reasonable coming from Fabindia.

Packaging: a slim cylindrical transparent, plastic bottle with a white flip-on cap and a pump spray dispenser. I can assure you its spill proof and travel friendly.

Availability: At FabIndia stores and available online with most of the e-retailers.

What I like: All the ingredients seem like all the goodness combined. This toner contains neem extracts, which is known for acne control and skin toning properties, along with another poweful ingredient being turmeric. What more should I say about turmeric? Its properties attribute to reduce oil secretion and control acne. Tea tree oil adds to its fragrance and anti-bacterial functions. All these ingredients joined together fight against the oil secretion and spots. I’ve been using this for about a month. It is a very qualitative product and is true to its acclamation. The quantity and price seem very good for a Fabindia product. There is but a mild scent of tea tree and so, people with high sensitivity towards fragrances can still use this. It is perfect for normal and oily skin types, would be comfortable using the product.

Now what i don’t like about this product is:

It is not suitable for dry skin type, It leaves it even more parched. It claims it is alcohol free, but the ingredients contain propylene glycol, it is indeed from the same family of alcohol. Other than this I don’t think the product has any other shortcomings. I would rate it 3.5 out out of 5, 1.5 point missing out only for its inclusion of propylene glycol. Other wise this product is just FAB!! ;-).
