Newspaper Print NOTD

Been longing to record this DIY of Newspaper Nail Art for long time now. Finally the day came. This one is such a fun and quick one that you would require anywhere between 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on how quick your nail enamel would dry.

Things you need:

  1. Base Coat
  2. Light Nail Colour
  3. Isopropyl Alcohol available in medical stores
  4. Newspaper strips with small font size
  5. Nail Polish Remover
  6. Corrector Pen or cotton buds for correcting the paints
Step 1:

Apply the Base coat on your clean nails and leave it to dry

Step 2 :

Apply a lighter nail enamel colour like white or pale orange or pale blue or pale lilacs. I picked a white one so that the black font a contrast on the same. Let it dry and apply another coat on it and leave it to dry again.

Step 3:

Take a small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol  in a platter, dip the newspaper cuttings in it. Place it on top of the nail for a about 30 seconds, so this will transfer the font onto the nail colour. We chose a similar font type for 4 nails and then 1 with a different background so that would give you pop of colour.

Step 4:

Apply the top coat to seal the paper font, so that it lasts longer. As the font will go away even with the least amount of contact.

Step 5:

User the corrector pen or the cotton buds dipped in nail enamel remover to colour-correct any nail.
