DAY 1 – HIGHLIGHTS
The day 1 of DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week 13th edition powered by Snapdeal showcased the most diverse roster of designers from every corner of the country. The day started with DREAM ZONE fashion school collections celebrating the people and places that inspired the budding designers.
Followed by Ravi Ranjan Kumar’s collection – oversized, dropped shoulder jackets, Blazer, Kurta and Pheron. Natural fabrics were showcased in a light like never before.
Madhusmitha Panda: The garments were a compilation of free flowing silhouettes for both men and women, with minimalistic style infused with the creative mixture of pattachitra painting on a variety of fabrics. A vibrant splash of colours to the traditional fabrics was breathtaking.
Priyal Bhardwaj’s “Dhristi”- the collection is inspired by your mind’s eye and longing for freedom, the collection is an amalgamation of light fabrics and free silhouettes that appeals to your inner thoughts of freedom.
Rehane’s “Feminity” was an all-time high and crowd’s favourite. A good mix of muted colours, Watered down pastels & Mirror work puts this designer on the most talented designer stand.
Riyaz & Gangji’s – With the colours of light blues and mints mixed with soft prints and lights embroideries, the dapper suits with bright attention seeking fabrics and trendy cuts for the young hearts.

DAY 2 – HIGHLIGHTS
The day 2 of DF Silverline Bangalore Fashion Week 13th edition powered by Snapdeal showcased brightest emerging talents and veterans taking the audience on a fashion journey.
“Chandri Mukherjee” collection inspired from temple walls of Bishnupur, the theme reflects the rich heritage & a unique form of architecture of Bengal Handicrafts and perhaps the most brilliant & detailed terracotta work in Eastern India.
Priyal Kadkade showcased “The Holy House” collection that is inspired from Bellur temple which is a famous South Indian temple. The fabric which is used in this collection is predominantly silk, Infused with bold colours for the season and portraying the femininity and elegance through the contemporary cuts and layers. The collection is a beautiful blend of Indian and western silhouettes.
Nidhika Shekhar showcased a collection of beauty, style, femininity, individuality and sensuousness in vivid hues like coral, lime, canary and more with exquisite hand embroidery. of beauty, style, femininity, individuality and sensuousness in vivid hues like coral, lime, canary and more with exquisite hand embroidery. The collection offers its customers a lifestyle concept for dressing which has everything from must have day wear to glamorous evening wear.
Riya Kodali’s collection is particularly inspired by the marine life found in the ocean that covers most of our globe.The designs reflect the Indian ethos with a blend of western influence. The iridescent Lisa Ray, graced the ramp in an exquisite flouncy gown in blue with beautiful fish embroidery hand made with American stones featuring the theme of the show.
Gaurang Shah’s collection presented the modern age bride who is traditional and culturally rooted. The highlights of the collection are the Jamdani sarees and ensembles in khadi, uppada, kanjeevaram, paithani, benarasi, patanpatola accentuated with zardosi embroidery, parsi embroidery, chikankari embroidery and hand-painted kalamkari.
